Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19YO Batches 1-3 (700ml)
Ardbeg have often said they'd like to offer a permanent older age statement whisky, but they simply don't have the stock. This 19 year old changes that. Drawing inspiration from Islay’s Traigh Bhan beach (pronounced ‘Tri-Van’), known locally as the Singing Sands, Ardbeg's new whisky will be available in limited annual batches with the recipe to change with each batch, creating ‘subtle differences’ between future iterations.
Dr Bill Lumsden, Ardbeg’s director of distilling, whisky creation and whisky stocks, comments "A new, permanent aged Ardbeg is a rare occurrence, and cause for celebration. We hope that, by slightly tweaking the batch recipe year-on-year, Ardbeggians can have some fun exploring the finer details of this ever-changing dram."
All bottles listed for purchase are from personal collections. Please examine all images carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before purchasing. Minor markings are inevitable and collector's should have reasonable expectations in this regard.
