Over the last few years, there has been a revolution taking place in American distilling. While bourbon and rye have both made a resurgence, a totally new category has emerged; American Single Malt Whiskey. Characterized by being produced from 100% malted barley and being fully matured in virgin charred American oak, no refill allowed. Leading the charge with their Westward American Single Malt Whiskey is a small craft distillery in the Pacific Northwest that were pioneers in this new flavour category. Westward American Single Malt Whiskey is everything you would expect in a craft whiskey, robust and fruity with well defined notes of brown sugar, roasted vanilla beans, baking spices and dark chocolate it has a long finish full of tobacco and leather tones.
For the Oregon Stout Cask, Tropical and floral on the nose, with kiwi, mango, hibiscus, coconut cream, and pistachio and almond halva; add water and a big burst of honeysuckle blooms.
All bottles listed for purchase are from personal collections. Please examine all images carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid. Minor markings are inevitable and collector's should have reasonable expectations in this regard.
