The Penfolds Bin 128 Coonawarra Shiraz stands as a beautifully refined expression of a cool-climate Shiraz, offering a striking counterpoint to its warmer-climate siblings. Sourced from Coonawarra's unique terra rossa soils, it exemplifies perfume and transparency. The nose is complex, hinting at gamey scents, redcurrant, and regional 'red dirt', while the palate is medium-bodied and well-proportioned.
