Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt 17YO (700ml) #2

Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt 17YO (700ml)

The Nikka Taketsuru 17 Years Old Pure Malt Whisky is named in honor of Masataka Taketsuru, the company’s founder and father of Japanese whisky. Masataka was an industry pioneer who mastered whisky-making in Scotland and returned to Japan to develop the first genuine Japanese whisky. He founded distilleries in Yoichi and Miyagikyo, surrounded by natural resources.

The Nikka Taketsuru 17 Years Old Pure Malt Whisky is a combination of single malt whiskies from Nikka’s two distilleries. “The strength of this whisky lies in the way the subtle aroma of peat builds up over time,” says world-renowned British whisky critic Jim Murray in appreciation of the Nikka Taketsuru 17 Year Old. Its mellow, well-rounded nose and palate are sure to please.
