Loch Lomond The Open Special Edition 2021 (700ml)
Loch Lomond’s Special Edition 2021 has been created in collaboration with professional golfer Colin Montgomerie, in celebration of the British Open. This limited-edition single malt has an underlying fruit character and gentle hint of peat smoke.
Matured in three types of American oak casks, before a partial finish in Virgin American Oak, the 2021 Open Special Edition delivers an approachable single malt with underlying fruit character and a gentle hint of peat smoke. Non chill-filtered, bottled at 46% and presented in a carton bearing Colin Montgomerie's signature.
The vibrant palate of peach and pear is enhanced by using specially selected spirit distilled from wine yeast fermentations. Creamy vanilla oak and maple syrup adding a background sweetness before subtle peat smoke emerges giving a balance to the finish.
