Laphroaig 10YO Cask Strength Batch 13 Jan 2021 (700ml)
Each year, Laphroaig Distillery Manager, John Campbell, crafts a limited-edition malt to celebrate the Friends of Laphroaig and friendship (“Càirdeas” in Gaelic) in general. Càirdeas 2021 is triple matured in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels, followed by quarter casks and finally in European oak hogsheads containing PX sherry. This creates a complex expression that is full of character that is bottled at cask strength to ensure rich and intricate flavours.
This the 13th edition in the 10YO, cask-strength series that enthusiasts are calling “possibly the best ever’. It’s also the final cask strength pick by John Campbell who has now retired his role of Distillery Manager!
