Lakes Whiskymaker's Reserve No.3 (700ml)
The Lakes Distillery has been producing exceptional spirits since its founding in 2011 by Paul Currie, who previously established Isle of Arran Distillers in 1995. In 2013, they launched The One, a unique blend of whiskies from all four nations of the UK, to help fund the opening of their distillery the following year. Located in a picturesque Victorian cattle farm in the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, the distillery boasts a custom-made McMillan still that began producing spirits in 2014, with a separate still dedicated to creating vdka and gin. Under the expert guidance of ex-Macallan Whisky Maker Dhavall Ghandi, the distillery focuses on sherry-maturation for their single malt, and their inaugural release in 2018, named Genesis.
This is the third of the Whiskymaker's Reserve releases from The Lakes, with this expression also having been matured in Pedro Ximenez sherry, bourbon and red wine casks.
All bottles listed for purchase are from personal collections. Please examine all images carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid. Minor markings are inevitable and collector's should have reasonable expectations in this regard.
