Kilkerran 8YO Sherry Cask 2022 Release (700ml)
The sister to Campbeltown's darling Springbank, Kilkerran from Glengyle Distillery has been taking the world quietly by storm. The cask strength releases are arguably the most sought after. As with past bottlings, you can expect a lovely sweet maltiness on the palate to go along with the delicate maritime and dunnage floor notes which Campbeltown whiskies are known for. This one reportedly saw a full-term maturation in Port casks. Anyone whose tasted the output from this distillery will know they've managed high and consistent quality from the outset. Indeed, as Serge Valentin of whiskyfun comments, "When you try them you could almost believe they had been distilled at.. Springbank."Following a trend that started last year, all Kilkerran whiskies now arrive without presentation tubes or boxes.
All bottles listed for purchase are from personal collections. Please examine all images carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid. Minor markings are inevitable and collector's should have reasonable expectations in this regard.
