Henschke Mount Edelstone Shiraz 2014 (750ml)
Mount Edelstone Shiraz is one of Australia's most famous single vineyard shiraz and a national treasure. The famed Mount Edelstone Vineyard, located in the Eden Valley at an altitude of 400 metres, is planted to dry-grown ungrafted centenarian vines which were sourced from pre-phylloxera material. The oldest vines were planted in 1912.
The first vintage of Mount Edelstone was bottled by Cyril Henschke in 1952. This 2014 vintage release is the 62nd vintage crafted by the Henschke family, believed to be the longest consecutively-produced, single-vineyard wine in Australia.
All bottles listed for purchase are from personal collections. Please examine all images carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid. Minor markings are inevitable and collector's should have reasonable expectations in this regard.
