The inaugural single malt whisky release from Capertee's Craft Works Distillery.
Following a number of independent bottling releases under the Craft Works Indie Bottler label, we've finally got into Capertee's first home-distilled whisky.
This has been vatted from two 50 litre Barossa shiraz recoopered, heavily charred casks with oloroso seasoning, and part of a 225 litre Mudgee ex-cabernet sauvingnon/port cask (no char, wet fill).
Bottled at 62.7%, this is a big whisky but it doesn't drink as hot as the ABV would suggest. A whisky of dark fruits and dark chocolate with ever so-slightly smoky oak.
All bottles listed for purchase are from personal collections. Please examine all images carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid. Minor markings are inevitable and collector's should have reasonable expectations in this regard.
