Corowa Distilling Ale Saviour Bridge Road Muscat Cask 482 (500ml)
Corowa Distilling Ale Saviour Bridge release is one of a few whiskies beginning to crop up that have been distilled from returned kegs at the beginning of the covid pandemic. In this case, kgs of Bridge Road made their way to Corowa distillery for a spin through the stills before filling American Oak Muscat cask no 482.
The resulting whisky is bright and aromatic with rich ginger spice notes, cloves and baked orange rind with a touch of unmistakable 'hoppy' herbaciousness. A very long and spicy finish complements the muscat cask sweetness well.
