Bruichladdich 1990 25YO Sherry Cask Edition (700ml)

Bruichladdich 1990 25YO Sherry Cask Edition (700ml)

Bottle No. 4,185 of 6,000.

Finding Bruichladdich in Sherry casks has always been unusual due to their refusal to use inferior quality wood that has simply been spoiled by exposure to poor quality Sherry (sadly a widespread industry practice). This is definitely not the case here though!

The Bruichladdich 1990/25-year-old has enjoyed an intriguing maturation process in some rather distinguished casks. Adam Hannett has carefully constructed this single vintage cuvee from a spirit that set out in 1990 along two very different paths towards perfection; using refill Sherry butts from Jerez and casks that had previously held American bourbon.
