2002 Zilzie Estate Shane Warne Collection Cabernet Merlot Petit Verdot (750ml) #1
This wine is much more successful than the Shane Warne white. The colour is excellent, with opaque black purple centre and mauve purple edge. The nose displays youthful complexity, with aroma of liquorice, spice and violets.The palate has very good structure – still youthful, with flavour of oak, iodine, cinnamon and cloves. Fine, firmish, dry tannins, followed by an aftertaste of oak, black pepper and spice.
