Kentucky Owl Straight Bourbon Takumi Edition (700ml)
Distilled and bottled in Bardstown, Kentucky, this is "the wise man's bourbon." Kentucky Owl is a recent re-addition to the world of American whisky, as the original Dedman family distillery was left high and dry by prohibition in the 1920's and its stock infamously looted by none other than Al Capone himself. Revived by great grandson Dixon Dedman, the Kentucky owl is back and flying higher than ever.
While the Kentucky Owl brand remains a sourced bourbon from other distilleries, it was recently purchased by the Stoli Group who have announced plans to build a Kentucky Owl distilling complex in Kentucky in the not-too-distant future.
This limited release Takumi Edition was born through a collaboration between Master Blenders John Rhea of Kentucky Owl and Yusuke Yahisa of the Nagahama Distillery, Japan.
All bottles listed for purchase are from personal collections. Please examine all images carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid. Minor markings are inevitable and collector's should have reasonable expectations in this regard.
