Jack Daniel's is the top-selling American whiskey worldwide. Despite its classification as a straight bourbon, the brand has always rejected this label in favor of being known as a Tennessee Whiskey. This type of whiskey is comparable to straight bourbon but also must undergo the Lincoln County Process, which involves filtering it through maple wood charcoal. Throughout its history, the distillery has faced challenges, including being affected by Prohibition and being located in a "dry" county, limiting the sale of its products in the surrounding area. After being purchased by Brown-Forman, the distillery has thrived, with its popular black-labelled Old No.7 brand (named after its original DSP number) now recognized globally. This special edition of Jack Daniel's, matured in ex-Sherry casks, is only available through Travel Retail.
