Bowmore 1964 Bicentenary Single Malt (750ml)
One of two Bicentenary bottlings that were released in early 1979, this legendary bottling of Bowmore contains whisky vatted from a selection of casks distilled in 1964. This Bicentenary release is widely considered to be one of the best Bowmore ever bottled.
The selected casks were all matured exclusively in Bowmore's famous No.1 Vault, the original warehouse at the distillery, which dates back to 1779.
The bottle, bearing the Morrison clan coat of arms, is a replica of a hand blown decanter.
All bottles listed for purchase are from personal collections. Please examine all images carefully and satisfy yourself as to their condition before making a bid. Minor markings are inevitable and collector's should have reasonable expectations in this regard.
