Released in mid-2024, the Maker's Mark 2024 Heart Release BEP Wood Finishing Series Limited Release Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky is the rebooted release in the Maker's Wood Finishing Series, and is composed of a mash bill containing 70% corn, 16% wheat, and 14% malted barley then finished to a cask strength of ~110-proof. The batch code BR-22A known as the Heart Release is a blend of two cask-strength Maker's Mark whiskeys finished with two unique stave-cooked styles, and is designed as a nod to the 'heart' of Maker's Mark distillery and the team of people responsible for making Maker's happen.
