Henschke Hill Of Roses Shiraz 2006 (750ml)

Henschke Hill Of Roses Shiraz 2006 (750ml)

Medium to deep red colour with very subtle purple tinges, the bouquet very fragrant, minty and herbal, with overtones of tomato ketchup and linament. Later, fragrant balsamic herbs, with a strong component of sage and eucalyptus. The palate is elegant, medium to full-bodied, but not really big - a stylishly structured wine with fine, gentle tannins and easy texture. Sweet balsamic herb flavours. If anything, it lacks grip and structure. A distinctive style, elegant and very long on the palate.
